Recently I experimented with color blocks. The position of 2 differing colors against each other in varying contrast. It was somewhat successful in that I got 1 image out of about ~200 that I had shot that ended up looking how I intended it. These colors were found in a neighborhood in Brazil in Sta. Teresa. The way the blue sky opposes the orange of the setting sun on the roof of this house really caught my eye and after positioning the camera just the way I wanted and spending limited time in post this is what I came up with.
