We hit the slopes on Tuesday during Veteran’s Day. Celebrating our freedom by taking advantage of the fresh snowfall. Unfortunately, the snow wasn’t as deep as we were hoping it would be, but we had fun nonetheless. Making sure we had all our safety gear checked and ready to go. The couple hours we spent outside made us realize how great our area of the country is, even if we are freezing our butts off.

Found in an alleyway in Butte, Montana.

Another shot from our hike through Bear Canyon. The red leaf in the lower section of the photograph caught my eye especially and made a great focal point for this picture!
This creek is not literally in my backyard, but I count it because the wilderness is my backyard in Montana. This little river is an awesome place to go for some solitude time in order to get away from the hustle and bustle of campus life. Anybody that knows Bozeman knows that this was not taken recently. However, I felt like it was worth sharing some spring/summer like pictures in order to get people excited about the end of the cold and the beginning of the heat!

Went up skiing on Friday and decided to take my camera with me! With 11 inches of fresh snow and it snowing at about 1 inch an hour the weather couldn’t have been better. These were taken off Schlasmens lift after hiking the rest of the way to the peak, the snow was fluffy and the skiing was amazing!

We have entered a magical time here in Bozeman. The colors are turning and the weather is getting a little bit nippier. Trees like these are all around campus. The morning commute to class is easier with beautiful surroundings like these!
